The Village Green

The Village Green is a large green space around the Copeman Centre.

Briston Parish Council is required by law to maintain the village green providing free access to people who live in Briston to pursue recreational activities.

At the centre of the green is the Village Beacon lit to celebrate significant events.

Historically a horse fair was held annually on the village green and is commemorated on the Briston Shield and by the appearance each year of Grays fun fair.
